Contribuiți la feedbackYou could never tell from outside the hidden treasure within. The huge open dining room looks like something you would find in the Swiss Alps. But the food is genuine Italian, exquisite, refined, and lunch is 10 Euros including first course, main course, dessert, water and wine--and bread. No extra hidden charges for the coperta . Today we went for the second time, to see if the first impression was justified. The started was an amazing pizzercheri, with fresh spinach and lots of cheese, but still light. For the main course, we chose the veal roast with potatos, amazing, so much meat you could hardly find the potatoes. And delicious. For the side, we got salad and were served a fresh bowl of rampons, or mache, a larger version of watercress. Dessert was a peach and cream torte, not perhaps as delicious as the torte della nonna we had last time, but good nevertheless. And at 10 Euros, you cannot beat it. We got the house red wine, included in the price, and splurged on coffee and grappa, another 5 Euros all together. NOTE: This is also a B&B not yet open as of October 2015.
When you see the place form the street, you would never imagine that inside is a place like this: if you go inside and discover it, they would surpirse you! great place to have lunch with friends: good traditional italian food, nice atmosphere (you could feel to be at your italian country side home place), excellent price, animals to see for childrens, kind waiters. place to go and discover! Trust me, let you wonder through this place: go and try it!
It 's quite a while that I could not eat at this agriturismo , the Italian denomination for an agricultural activity with restoration service. And I got well surprised as before. Great appetizers with good local cold cuts, especially good the cooked had and the Nervietti , a kind of animal interiors under olive oil, very particular and unique offer at this place. Also the tagliatelle, with ragout, everything home made, were of great taste. The ragout is made by them with their own meat, so really home cooked. As a second plate a huge steak, also known in Italy as Fiorentina , with the bone, quite 400 gr of great and very fine meat. All together with an impeccable service and a decent wine and spirit offer, at a very interesting price, so I will return for sure in short time. And for families it 's a great place as the kids can see the animals, cattles and horses, under supervision, directly in the barn.
