Skeetas Restaurant Bar Cafe - Geraldton

The food was fantastic, although the medium well steak was cooked well done. For our dining experience, we had dinner, and the price per person ranged from A$60 to A$80. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, service also a 4, while the atmosphere deserves a 5. I highly recommend trying the Fish of the Day and the Crab Linguine - Shark Bay Blue Swimmer.

While traveling through Geraldton, we stumbled upon Skeetas and decided to reserve a table for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the fine dining experience we received, which exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was wonderful, especially as we enjoyed the sunset during our meal. I dined at Skeetas on Saturday, March 23, 2024, and it was absolutely delightful. The food was excellent, the scenery was stunning, and the service was top-notch. I also enjoyed breakfast there on Sunday and Monday, which was perfect. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

Food was slow to come out, waitresses (and there were plenty of them), we're inattentive, uninterested and slow. You had to fight to get their attention. I noticed this was a problem with other diners too. Although my glass was empty, about 3 different waitresses walked past my table and didn't ask if I wanted a drink. Same withe table next to me. As all the waitresses were like this, this is a management issue. Unless you're sitting next to balcony (you get the views over harbour), the rest of the dining room is poorly laid out, with too many tables.The couple on the table behind me kept knocking the back of my chair. The dining room itself lacked charm and character. Grey is the predominant colour with no real attempt to add any art or beauty. Waitresses very young and lovely, but absolutely no idea about the food or drinks menu. The drinks I can understand because of their age, but they could not tell us anything at all about the food simple queries. A little training will go a long way, and perhaps let them see and eat the food they are taking orders for. The restaurant overall did not live up to expectations. Food: 3
