Tejas Meat Supply - Georgetown

We ordered 3 sandwiches and had to wait 55 minutes for them to arrive. The grilled cheese was not melted and the other sandwiches were cold. The brisket was tough and seemed like it needed to be heated before being placed on the sandwiches. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the beer was good, but I would not recommend coming here for the food. They may simply need more help in the kitchen.

This restaurant is the perfect spot for enjoying a cold beer and lunch after a morning of shopping and exploring the local market. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. They offer a variety of beers on tap and in bottles, and we highly recommend trying their sandwiches. There are also 2 TVs available for watching sports without being disruptive to conversation. During our visit on a Saturday afternoon, there was live music from a guitarist, adding to the great atmosphere. We regretted not bringing a cooler to take home some of their fresh meat for a barbecue.

The Georgetown Melt was delicious. We felt that the turkey BLT didn't have enough turkey. My husband enjoyed the 32 oz beers that you can walk around with. The service at the bar was excellent, with everyone checking on us. We wish they offered more side options besides just chips.

Great place. We pass this place all the time and finally went in. Very good sandwiches. It?s a butcher shop also so I have to try that. A bit of a wait but we were told when we ordered. They cut the meat for each order so I expected a bit of time. Wellworth the wait. The Cuban was excellent. I?m going back to try the others.

Sandwiches were not good looked good but definitely not good. Turkey BLT tasted the turkey but the bacon was Canadian style I guess and was soft not crispy. Wife had the chicken. She said it was tough chewy like leather and for some reason theyused a hair to season it with. You get a bag of chips. $11 for the sandwich and a bag of chips. Plus it took about 15 20minutes to make them. The presentation did look good. Unfortunately they did not taste as good as they looked. One bigpositive they do have Texas Pride beer on draft. Man that helped wash down the sandwich! We went there because it was notcrowded for Sunday lunch. Now we know why
