Contribuiți la feedbackAbsolutely the best culinary experience! This place is a real jewel! The entire team really goes beyond and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. Chef Rod came to the table and chatted with us, which was a really nice touch too!
I must say that this is probably one of the best culinary experiences I had. Our server was absolutely amazing. I know what I'm gonna say, not with what I just said, but listen to me. My wife ordered the act and frankly it was just not good. Our server came by and checked us and asked how everything was. We told her that Steak was not very good and she immediately asked what else she could get, and immediately the court took off. No questions asked. She got the Kaprese chicken as a substitute and it was amazing. The cook came out to ask what they could have done better. That tells you what kind of people they are. Wonderful experience. Top notch service. I'm definitely going to dine again.
Celebrated Valentines with another outstanding dinner at Rodney's. Started with splitting a house salad. I had the smoked and grilled prime rib. Excellent. A unique taste for prime rib. Wife had the seahorse (scallops wrapped in prosciutto) appetizer and added lobster tail. Finished with a take home Carrot Cake with bourbon glaze. Fantastic!
First time at this restaurant and had heard good things mostly. It is fit for an older crowd due to the ambiance. Service was great! Starter and salads were good (salads are very pricey for the quality) but very underwhelmed with the quality of the “featured in a magazine” entrees. The $68 New York strip ordered medium rare came to the table completely unseasoned, burned, and so charred that you had to scrape off the burned pieces and it had to be sent away. Rodney himself came to the table and dismissively explained that they are chargrilled so that’s why it tasted charred but offered a different entree and a dessert, both comped. The lamb chops were the correct temperature but also chargrilled so you couldn’t taste the demi glace because of the bitter flavor of the char. The “complements” (sides) were good (mac and cheese and grits were delicious) but the portions are very small and overpriced. The flourless chocolate cake was very good. Lastly, after getting the open table points for our visit, the restaurant cancelled the reservation, I assume in attempt to avoid a negative review, so I submitted my receipt to open table to be able to write this. Overall, the service was great but the food was disappointing, though it may look pretty in a magazine. There are other locations in the area, primarily steakhouses, that offer much higher quality and flavorful food at a similar price point. This seems to be popular with the older crowd that enjoys a unique, cozy atmosphere.
Special Birthday Dinner for visiting Uncle from San Francisco. Deserved a special place for his dinner. He was thrilled with everything this great team delivers everyday. If I mentioned five names here, I’d likely miss five others so better to just say great Hospitality TEAM!
