Mizu Asian Bistro - George Town

During my time in the quarantine center, my craving for sushi was completely suppressed.

Drinks are good, eating is delicious, lava cake is great. service was fast and the prices are powerful high for what they get. 8 ci for a swell water is a bit much. a good place for drinks.

Wanted this to be a great dinner, but unfortunately it just wasn’t what we hoped for. Outdoor seating is nice, but quite out of the way and makes for a long walk to and from the bathroom. There’s absolutely no local seafood on the sushi menu from what we gathered I thought this was a real shame and had no desire for overpriced salmon/tuna that I can have back in the states. The chicken with lettuce wraps appetizer was small, and the peanut chicken entree was a bit bland. The one redeeming factor was the pan seared red snapper over green curry, which I would recommend and was told is “probably local”.

Food was good, but honestly at brunch, not one time was my drink topped up. had to continuously ask for refills. And hardly any kind of attention was given to my table but only to a bigger group. This is not how an establishment should make a table feel.

The food is fantastic, and there are plenty of options! This restaurant is always on our list whenever we visit the Cayman Islands!
