Contribuiți la feedbackMy wife and I were recently in the gc westin and had a wonderful culinary experience in ferdinands. we spent most of the week eating out premising thinking that eating would be better and less expensive. Please note that ferdinands was the best meal we had throughout our stay on smb, and their prices are very reasonable.
Had lunch twice at ferdinand's stay in the resort. both of them went for the salatbar special and it was a great value. lots of variety on salads, with suppe and desert options. beautiful quiet and relaxing place on the beach with sea view.
Wow! what an amazing brunch. this place has literally everything! service, amazing eating, great ambiente, endless drinks, they call it and if they want it on a brunch, it is here! the food stations are divided into manageable and easily navigated areas. an breakfast part with traditional American breakfast price offers eggs, speck, pancakes and hashbrowns casrole to name some. there is a chacutery station with a lot of meat, cheese and a wonderful sortiment to be. the freshly cut station had a whole carved snapper and a delicious roast beef freshly carved on request. a fresh tempura bar waited for those who want to get a little bit of a ride. from here to pasta bar with an arrangement of pastas and sauces to satisfy any carb traps, and then to the fresh salad section with unique beats such as snow crab finger and fresh caviar. a fresh sushi station was also included. from here, if they still have a room, (usually not) the desserts are as kreatiw as they are endless. combine this great eating with views of the beach and the company of a perfect companion and they have one when the best brunettes I have ever experienced. very expensive, but worth every penny or ci$ in this case!
Good breakfast buffet, especially if it is included in your hotel stay. I don't think I'd come from outside just to eat here, but the buffet offers a lot of options that are pretty good. I have filled up here specifically to avoid having to stay on the island on a moderate lunch. the service is iffy, the personal mixes request and is often slow.
Absolutely horrible service. Good food, but bad service staff. The short version: Would not recommend. Long story short, waiter would not bring us plates. Waiter could not take our order properly and food was missing components. They failed to complete our dinner service. Go somewhere else. Don 't bother with this place. Its not worth the convenience. The long version: I understand that there are 'bad days ' etc. but this was so bad that there is no 'one bad server ' excuse here. I leave a lot of reviews in general, you can check my history. I am generous with good reviews and rarely leave negative feedback, but I am doing this as a service to you, the reader. We spent over 45 minutes watching food go cold on our table, and I got up several times to find things like plates or staff to have our order corrected etc. My wife finished her meal before mine was even brought out (15 minutes or more of waiting there as well? , and eventually I canceled my order. I went without dinner that night. The waiter was reluctant to take our drink order after we said no to wine and beer. We were charged a 16% mandatory gratuity even though they couldn 't finish our dinner service. They didn 't really care. The issues were quickly swept under the rug. The buffet is self service, they also charge a 16% gratuity. Some of the food is good, some is very bland. Avoid. Go elsewhere. Don 't eat, whatever, just avoid it. I am embarrassed that they received any money from me at all. Literally the worst service I have received at any resultant. Not even being dramatic here, but I have literally had better service at fast food restaurants. Also I don 't have higher expectations because of the inflated cost. The meals were paid for by my employer, but even not being my own money, I wouldn 't given them another penny.
