Il Panino Italiano - GENOVA

This place brings the best of memories from my trip to Genoa! If you visit this city, you must GO HERE! From just thinking about it, my mouth waters. The buffalo mozzarella was the best I've had in my life. The Prosciutto was unbelievable. Bread was incredible! This is truly one of the best memories I retain of Genoa. I sincerely suggest everyone to visit Il Panino d'autore !!!

Be sure not to miss this tiny sandwich joint as it is tucked in between other (bigger) stores on this commercial wide avenue. Here you find all italian specialties and delicacies that you can combine on a custom made to order sandwich. Bresaola, salami, mozzarella di bufala, pecorino with pistacchio, baccalà affumicato (a sort of smoked cod), smoked tuna, carpaccio, stoccafisso... Every ingredient is top quality! You will also find here small producer traditional products that are Slow Food distinguished. Eat on the go as there aren't any seats. Perfect for a quick and very satisfying lunch. Pair it with an italian beer.

Fast lunch break I take a sandwich to take away. gentle gentlemen on the counter make me a sandwich in a second, very good. fresh ingredients and excellent quality. I come once a month to work genova and I will always be with you. Good
