Antico Forno Da Mario - GENOVA

It was for some years that I did not go to the 'Old Furnace da Mario but I had a great memory. So to celebrate a family event we booked for 10 people. Everything went according to expectations: having all chosen the pizza tour we tasted focaccia with cheese and different variations of pizza and flour. Everything more than great. Service celery but not pressing, friendly staff, attentive and helpful. Water, Coke and beers. To finish excellent sweets many of which I believe homemade. The final account was also proportioned. To be recommended absolutely recommending to book well in advance.

I had been here many years ago, and I had a positive memory. So last week I had a chance to go back, twice. The local specialty is undoubtedly the flour (typically typical of the area, which is proposed with the different variants. I was also curious to try their pizza at the Genoese , which I really enjoyed very much: it gave me the feeling of a homemade pizza, very good in taste (the excellent sauce used and particular in the consistency (at the soft and with reduced thickness, to the crisp edge but almost was a double puff . One of the pizzerias in the area, so we've known it forever...it's been a while but we haven't gone... it's too high and gommosa... it's good... but nothing that... and especially a nice price chase...
