Yolo's - Genoa City

Wow, this is truly one of the best! The food, service, and prices were all excellent. Highly recommended!

To start, I ordered a steak sandwich and fries, and it definitely hit the spot, especially the grilled steak sandwich with added grilled onions. On my second visit, I tried the Belgian waffle with chocolate chips, biscuits with gravy (which had a strong onion flavor — perhaps the cook was a bit heavy-handed), and the Apple Crumble French toast, which was also very enjoyable alongside some hash browns (I'll definitely be adding bacon next time). We drive 40 minutes for this place because it's such a great value. One downside is that you can only pick up some Spotted Cow beer on your way out. Additionally, there's a bonus: Lovin’ Oven Bakery has a delightful bakery section. While we didn't have room to indulge during our visit, their treats looked amazing (though not cheap — the cookies are $16 a pound, and the coffee cakes didn’t seem appealing). Overall, it's a fantastic spot worth the drive!

Delicious food at a great price—definitely a must-try! I had the Apple Crumble French Toast, and although there weren't any crumbs, I really enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and the meal. Yum! They also offer rainbow pancakes!
