Libeccio - Genoa

We were going to enjoy my wife's birthday dinner at this restaurant. When we entered it, we took a look at the menu, which was Italian/English in layout. In addition, we exchanged a few English words with the man behind the bar. After we were seated, we ordered by reading aloud from the menu in English/Italian and showing the menu items besides. What was then brought was not what was ordered. Not everything was available in the kitchen, was the reason given. In addition, we could not even begin to eat because there was no cutlery on the table. Until that came, a few minutes passed and then the food was cold. Cold fries with cold seafood from the grill is absolutely not a treat. Cold fish, a cold pizza that was not what was ordered and pasta that formed a thick lump on the plate. When it came to paying, no one spoke English. We were loudly asked to pay. But not what was served but what we had ordered. We briefly considered whether we should call the police. However, the pizza maker of the restaurant took such a threatening position that especially my wife and the children just wanted to get out. The result: a bill of 120 euros, a lot of leftover low-quality food and a huge rage that they have ruined my wife's birthday dinner.

Went there for some drinks, a plate of food was brought over, we explained we did not want it as we were going to dinner in an hour, the owner insisted it was free, charged €25 for it at the end, terrible UNTRUSTWORTHY place.

The view is incredible which makes this review such a shame. The food honestly looks like it came out a supermarket kids’ lunch box from the 80s. Drinks were fine though. Nothing special but fine grab a glass of wine there to watch the sunset but nothing else.

C'e' molto da parlare qui. È necessario prevenire questo principalmente un bar, cioè nei pomeriggi estivi è aperitivo, così come il servizio non dovete immaginare un ristorante di alto livello, ma non deve essere nemmeno una scusa per giustificare il cattivo servizio. Sono nei guai perche' sapevo gia' cosa avrei incontrato stasera e sapevo che avrei assaggiato la pizza e non ero deluso. pizza come la pizza tipica napoletana originale ed è posta tra i primi posti soprattutto negli standard qui in genova (pizza genovese no comment). Ci hanno offerto anche un digestivo. Andiamo alle note dolorose. se andate a questo bar/ristorante dovreste sapere che il servizio e la pulizia non sono i migliori, molto spartano: prendete i tavoli a destra e a sinistra, prendete le sedie e compone tutto al momento; Il mio tovagliolo sporco, cameriere che ha torto con la pizza e così via. In breve, un ambiente imprevedibile, da migliorare assolutamente sulla pulizia e sul servizio. Dirty, low quality, with unmasked staff and no-one asking for the vaccination proof (which was a requirement). We quickly drank something just because we had to and then run away.
