Bio Cosi - Genoa

The shop was quite small, but all the products there was vegan and some even gluten-free. they also concentrated on it, it is organic. we asked the staff who works there for certain things, and he could provide them or provide good alternatives. if you need to get some vegan products, this is the place to go! updated by the previous review on 2021-10-05

Large small shop in the city center. traveling vegans find everything essential and some special tasty (breakfast cookies and nutritious organic versions of Italian classics (green blackberry paste, red lens fusilli and vegan pesto). the owner also speaks English and was really helpful.

Lovely shop owner, very positive about speaking English (although we tried some of our terrible Italian attempts on him! Small but good selection of vegan groceries and healthcare. We got crackers, pesto and olives to snack on, plus some toothpaste. Very reasonable. It sounds like Genoa is a tough city for a vegan business though.

Genoa is not the most vegan friendly place but this shop owner is vegan, speaks English well, and gave me useful suggestions. I was very happy to get to know him!
