Sushi Train Kiteki - Genève

My advice for your pocket book it so order the 7 piece veg sushi and let them know only these kinds 2 cucumber 3 green bean 2 of the yellow veg the rest are veggies preserved in oil. Order a bowl of rice. The presentation is fabulous and with the total lack of healthy options in Geneva you'll probably have to go here.

Unfortunately, a beautiful sushi train does not correspond to the big sushi and that was not a big sushi. A very limited choice and certainly not the freshest. Every moment and then there would be a fresh plate, but most came from the refrigerator. The price was almost twice the most other sushi trains. It would have been great to have some hot options, but they were not where to be seen. I had to try to recharge my tea because the staff was not attentive enough. Under average.

A good concept of sushi plates on train. Been to this place with friends before and after lockdown. Went once without booking and the second time we called to book. With the corona issue and social distancing, it would be a good idea to book ahead. It is a nice place with good service. They have a patio too. All you can eat sushi price is good for geneva area. In my opinion, i believe they can do better by adding variety of sushi to their all you can eat menu and also improving the taste of sushi by adding ingredients well. The rice feels dry and bland. I was looking for the harmony in taste of rice, rice vinegar, salt and sugar but that did not happen. I am not sure if this is the case for all you can eat sushi only. I shall return to try their sushis and sashimi from the a la carte menu for comparison.

I only went here for takeaway, but I was really impressed! The place was packed with people, the atmosphere was really cool, staff was very friendly, the sushi was really really good and it wasn’t even expensive!

My young daughter loves this place and she been coming here since she was 3. The little train bringing the prepared sushi around is entertaining. The Nigiri are machine made, with way too much and compact rice. The Maki's are acceptable and the only sushi I take. The seaweed salad is good and the special order tempura is also good. All in all an ok place to have a quick sushi like dinner. Since they started their evening happy hour the place is loaded in the evenings.
