Sala thai - Genève

I use to go there regularly and use to find food very nice (years ago). Went back recently and was very disappointed. Food was not particularly good, place was nearly empty (only two other tables occupied aside from ours), and found a hair in my rice. Won't be going back...

The two times I've been there, there was only 2 or 3 persons and I understand why. Here are the bad points:- Not clean: you can see dead flies and butterfly along the windows - this is disgusting. The toilets are also not clean and need a big renovation - Language: the waiter doesn't speak French although it is the official language here. Why having an Indian waiter in a Thai restaurant? This makes a weird atmosphere - Expensive: 30 chf for a curry is expensive and there is too little rice. I hate to see that if you want to get tap water, this chf 2.50. The ice tea is disgusting as they use powder - again to increase their margin without taking in the client. Why don't they just buy the Lipton bottle as all do...-payment: they never tell u that you cannot pay with credit card until you receive the bill. Who the hell don't accept credit card. Very bad

Nous avions mangé dans ce restaurant il y a deux ans et en avions gardé un bon souvenir. Cette fois-ci, côté goût, la nourriture nous a paru quelconque, bien que joliment présentée. A 28 CHF les morceaux de viande sans riz ni légumes, on s'attend à une cuisine plus raffinée. Puis, le serveur a commencé à enlever les plats alors que nous n'avions même pas fini de manger. Et à la fin du repas: Sorry, you have to pay cash.Ainsi, nous avons compris pourquoi un vendredi soir, il n'y avait que deux autres tables de prises.

Les plats sont délicieux et ils ont vraiment les saveurs de là-bas pas comme dans certain resto qui ce prétendent Thaï ou les plats ont un goût de Chine, le cadre est bucolique le serveur sympa et le patron adorable, quand aux prix ils sont raisonnables, bref une très bonne adresse

Amazing food, good service i would definitely recommend this restaurant for either family dîner or business lunch.
