Pizzeria Le Velours - Genève

The pizzas are uninteresting but the Iranian stews are not bad and a fair price (20fr. for good portions as well. The service is very good and the owners very nice.

The venue is fundamental. The food was surprisingly good! The rice is cooked for perfection and its kebabs were fresh, tasty and beautifully carved. Absolutely come back!

Wonderful Persian food. Have tried many dishes on the menu and really impressed by the quality of meat and chicken used in various dishes. Very good service, real cook, who is really proud to represent his culture. Bravo.

I won't comment on the service and atmosphere because I ordered takeaway. As for the cuisine... what can I say... frankly ordinary, much too expensive for what you get on the plate. So-called tasteless marinated chicken, almost burnt tomatoes, bland rice, industrial vine leaves, rancid baklava, in short an address to forget as quickly as possible.
