El Meditsol - Genève

Good tapas, nice service, but a little expensive for what you get. Beautiful aromas but and with a small rethink this could be a fabulous tapas place. Start updating the classics like Tortilla and make it more contemporary (like Donostia in London) and also...think Make the decor or simply fix the current one.

We had tapas for diners with friends on Saturday night, service was slow because there was a single waiter (the other was obviously sick). It wasn't very crowded, but we fought every time for order. Tapas were great, but expensive, the first bottle...wine we ordered was not great, we took a second on his recommendation that was definitely not worth his price.

A popular place in the center of town, the terrace is always full of lunch. Spanish cuisine and daily meals. Not bad, but really nothing to remember. Today, duck breast boiled with fresh vegetables and so-so potatoes.... Service quite efficient. Average prices for the area.

Nice place to go for tapas after shopping in Rive area or after work. The tapas are really delicious. I really enjoyed the octopus, stuffed paprika and tortilla, and the Manzana liqueur. It's a bit expensive for what you get, but I guess it's in a prime location, and that's finally, Geneva.

Locale centrale vicino a Rive, siamo entrati perché eravamo in zona e ci sembrava avessero una buona offerta di cocktail e tapas. In realtà scopriamo che hanno finito tutti i frutti per i pestati - ok prendiamo un 1 Virgin cocktail e 2 spritz insieme a delle tapas. Servizio lentissimo, aspettiamo mezz'ora per ordinare e quando finalmente ci portano i cocktail, sono senza tapas. Attendiamo un'ora e mezza ma niente. Allora chiediamo il conto (visibilmente scocciati). Dopo un quarto d'ora ci dicono 35 chf senza scontrino nè giustificativo. Quando chiedo spiegazioni e chiedo di pagare con la carta, allora diventano 30 chf. Mi è incomprensibile come facciano ad essere ancora aperti.
