Chez Sunny Kong - Genève

This Huotiantian Chinese restaurant is the most authentic and delicious Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in during my travels in Switzerland and Milan. Although the menu does not have a wide variety of dishes, the dishes we ordered were all delicious. Beef with pickled cabbage, the acidity of pickled cabbage is enough, the beef is very tasty, and there is no fishy smell Kung Pao Shrimp, (because some of us don’t like spicy food, you can choose not to be spicy). The shrimp tastes like a sweet and sour thickening. The shrimp are also very large. The ingredients include onions, bell peppers and some vegetables. The beef fried noodles are very delicious. The whole noodles absorb the sauce and have a bit of barbecue sauce flavor. It is also delicious. Fried rice (for one person), the rice was fried and fragrant. Originally we only ordered one bowl, but ended up ordering 2 more bowls and a takeaway There are almost no minefields in the dishes ordered here. It’s amazing that you can eat such authentic Chinese food in Geneva. The service is also very good, highly recommended!

Disastrous lunch service. The dishes are served so slowly, even the daily menu! ... that the main course is finally to be taken away because we no longer have time to eat there.

Fresh and well-seasoned cuisine, generous and kindly served. Rather pleasant room, well ventilated, I will return with great pleasure.

Overall a good experience, good food and service. I think her specialty is the spicy wok where you can pick pork, chicken, beef or seafood and it is served in a sizzling wok. The dish is spicy and delicious. I didn't try the Beijing duck, but my friends said it was good. But note, if you order the Beijing duck, two courses are served: first is crispy duck skin with thin pancakes, followed by duck meat stirred fried eggs and a bowl of rice. The Chinese hot pot was underwhelming... Soup was bland and served with only one diving sauce: shacha. I don't recommend it. Veggie dumplings and rose dumplings were also not so good, can skip. Dessert pumpkin cakes were okay. You just need to know what to order and what to avoid.

Excellent Chinese food at good prices. Very typical Chinese and very traditional atmosphere (don't expect something modern and minimalistic)
