The menu offered a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the macaroni! The presentation of the food was outstanding, and the service was fantastic.

Great menu! The Bloody Mary was fantastic! The service was prompt, and we were seated immediately. I'd love to explore the menu further, but the nachos were really delicious with huge portions.

Glen Ellyn has been truly impressed by Nobel House. It's a fantastic place with delicious food. The staff is attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. They also have an excellent selection of beers, featuring a variety of local craft options on tap.

The food arrives quickly, but it's definitely not fast food. Everything we tried was five-star worthy. The shrimp tacos—three of them—were incredibly tasty. If you're a fan of pork, you have to try the hog melt; it features pulled pork, ham, and bacon, all expertly cooked and served on perfectly toasted crispy bread. The atmosphere was a bit noisy because of the industrial-style bare ceiling and hardwood floors. The decor is lovely, and the service was exceptional.

After a long day of home remodeling, I stopped by one of my favorite restaurants for a bite to eat. I’m lactose intolerant, but this spot was a go-to for me before I developed some dietary restrictions. After all that hard work, I felt I deserved a little treat, and I wasn't going to let my intolerance hold me back. A couple of lactase pills typically help me enjoy lactose-containing foods without issues. We started with the smoked poutine, which features cheese curds, fries, and smoked pulled pork. It was incredibly savory and salty; we all loved it! I took a lactase pill before indulging but opted to skip the cheese curds. For my main course, I went with my all-time favorite: Nashville hot chicken. It did not disappoint. The breading, sauce, and even the bread all contain dairy, so I took another lactase pill before digging in. This Nashville hot chicken is truly one of the best sandwiches in the entire Fox River area. It’s tangy, sweet, smoky, and has just the right amount of kick—absolutely fantastic! I also enjoyed one seasonal beer with my meal. The restaurant has been remodeled since my last visit, and I was genuinely impressed with how beautiful it looked. The dramatic portrait of Alfred Nobel at the entrance is a striking touch. Overall, the food was fantastic, and the decor was equally appealing. The place was bustling with customers, and I now understand why. Fortunately, my stomach handled everything just fine. Everyone's experience with lactose intolerance can differ, so I recommend proceeding with caution if you're sensitive. In my case, I found that taking two lactase pills worked well for me!
