Edgar’s In The Castle - Geneva

We had a wonderful evening on the stunning grounds that overlook the lake. The food was truly delicious. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as it's definitely worth it. The restaurant is adorned with antiques that evoke a bygone era. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed unwinding on the lawn after taking in the beautiful view.

The castle is stunning, the grounds are lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. Although the staff was quite limited, they took great care of us. The steaks were incredible, and the gumbo had a deliciously smoky flavor with a nice kick—it was even better than we expected! We really enjoyed ordering and sharing some desserts. The peanut butter cake was very rich, while the pistachio cheesecake was sweet and uniquely delightful (definitely on the sweeter side!). The apple pie with ice cream met all our expectations.

The service was outstanding! Our bartender and waiter were very attentive, enhancing our experience. The food was quite good, but the atmosphere truly stood out. I did find my meal a bit pricey—$50 for six jumbo scallops served over white rice with a few vegetables on the side. The wine selection was also on the expensive side, with a bottle priced at $34 that we had just purchased at their wine store for $19. Additionally, they charged a $15 fee for us to bring our own bottle. On a positive note, the dessert was exceptional, rounding off what was a lovely and tranquil dinner.
