Contribuiți la feedbackWe were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it was near by. The menu was only in italian and deutsch but the waiter explained the menu in english for us. We had pizza and it was amazing. I've never been to Italy but I believe that this is what real pizza should taste like. Very nice! The staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This is a nice Italian restaurant near the Stadthalle Hotel. We went twice and enjoyed it both times. As the owner said to us, it represents a little piece of Italy in Vienna. The food was good and the prices reasonable. The staff were very friendly. Just like in Italy, you were not always entirely sure what was going to happen next, but it all worked out very well. I predict that if you know and like Italy, you’ll like it here.
Went as staying nearby and on strength of previous Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Small menu with daily specials but cooked to perfection. Friendly welcome and service.
We were staying nearby and came across this restaurant. It was a Friday evening, but we were the only customers, although it was early. The waiters were really helpful and explained their menu and specials. The pizza was delicious and we decided to have desert. I can honestly say the chocolate mousse was the best desert I have ever eaten! What a great find.
I dined there this evening on my own. I am here for business. I realise its not ideal to dine out on Valentines day but I had no choice. After reading reviews on TA I decided to give them a go.I didn't make a reservation but arrived at 6pm and noone was in the restaurant yet. I am grateful that they gave me a table. They went through the specials etc but I decided to order from the al a carte menu, risotto gamberetti. The meal was nice enough, I do however have complaints regarding the service. First of all the staff were just standing around laughing and carrying on for most of my time there, I realise I was the only guest however, it doesn't make for good ambience.I asked for a red wine recommendation, a good glass of sicilian wine was suggested. Later the glass of wine was brought out. Never in my dining experience has this happened; I was not shown the bottle and it was not poured in front of me. Who actually knows what wine I got! The wine was ok but I suspect that it wasnt worth the €5 I paid for it.Then my meal came out, about 2Tbs of risotto on a large plate with a drizzle of balsamic on the side, no explanation given. I asked if it was the main or entrée size. He said he would ask the chef. A moment later another waiter came out with the rest of it. Explaining that the first plate is for decoration. I have no idea why the first waiter didn't bring both plates out, he had 2 hands after all or why he didn't tell me the rest of my meal is coming when asked. I felt that they were taking the mickey and I didn't appreciate it. The chef did pop out to ask if I enjoyed the meal, which was a nice touch. And the last waiter who was a young man was quite lovely despite having to wait ages for my change. The small tip I gave was for him.All in all the food was good, wine ok (whatever it was) but I felt uncomfortable the entire time. Perhaps being solo on Valentines means you get treated sub par.
