Woodborough Hall - Gedling

My recent wedding reception was held at this venue. The location is stunning, the food we selected was exceptional (we opted for a platter and were impressed with the abundance of top-notch dishes), the rooms were elegant, and the staff were attentive and kind. We decided on this venue last minute after our original choice fell through, and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. I highly recommend this place for weddings, as they offer reasonable prices compared to many other venues and truly make you feel special. We plan on coming back for a meal and becoming regular patrons.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the hall at the end of September. I have complex dietary needs due to IBS and I emailed before booking and they were brilliant at accommodating quite difficult requirements! I was so impressed that they made a social soda bread for me and it was delightful, the lighted fluffiest soda bread I’ve had. My thanks to Jenny (who arranged it) and the team at front of house as well as the great chefs, I’m very grateful to be able to go out and enjoy afternoon tea which I didn’t think was going to be possible. We had a warm welcome, all the staff were friendly and knowledgable. We enjoyed some lovely teas which was a treat. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely relaxed celebration. Thanks woodborough hall.

I recently visited Woodborough Hall for afternoon tea and had an incredible experience. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We were seated in the orangery, which was a stunning location. The variety of teas available was impressive. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.

As 12 school leaders, we were looking for a corporate venue that would allow us privacy, provide excellent catering whilst also enabling us areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding grounds. Woodborough Hall was exactly what we were looking for. From booking to leaving, every need was met with meticulous attention to detail. We were all very impressed and would highly recommend. The catering was excellent, we had pastries on arrival, coffee, tea and water throughout the day and a fabulous lunch followed by scones and afternoon tea. The conference room and IT equipment was perfect and very well prepared for us. A special mention to Abi who made sure the day was seamless, she was always on hand should we need her and nothing was too much trouble, even when we decided to move our meeting outside to the terrace because the sun was shining. A fabulous day, well done to the Woodborough Hall team, we look forward to returning.
