Burton Joyce Fish - Gedling

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic, very welcoming and accommodating when we arrived with three carloads of young football players just before closing time. I really enjoyed my haddock, the batter was crispy and the fish tasted fresh. The curry sauce was sweet and went well with the large portion of chips.

I recently enjoyed the best fish and chips I've ever had, along with a delicious battered sausage. The chips were not greasy and the portion size was fantastic.

Never Disappointed !!!!!....... We have been having a collection from here every week over lockdown for months....I have to say we are always content and happy after every meal .. thanks for your continued high standard and service thanks Jo x

Lovely fish and chips and great value for money. Lunchtime specials only £3.99 and a choice to children’s meals for around £3. Good click and collect service in place for the current situation. Best pre-order as extremely busy Fridays and Saturdays.

25.01.20 evening visit for pre ordered fish and chips for 3. Establishment very busy with the assistants noth fully committed. Seemed efficient and pleasant. Three large fish and chips packed in recyclable cartons (sadly peas in polystyrene cup) and all piping hot. Fish perfectly cooked in crispy batter and delicious chips. Great value for just £21. First rate Saturday supper. We have fish and chips maybe once a month and this was the fourth or fifth time we've had them from BJ's under this proprietorship. They are consistently good and now our chip shop of choice.
