Mon Balzac - Gdansk

This place is amazing! Food was delicious from all kinds. Owners have made us feel at home. Prices are reasonable compared with high quality of food. My children loved this place and we will be back during the next stay in Gdansk.

Came a few times to this place when visiting Gdanks. Beautiful view in the heated area. Quickly served by the staff with a drink in the hand. Food was phenomenal 100% we do not recommend leaving disappointed.

I visit Gdańsk for the weekend and I had a nice fine dinner in this wonderful place with beautiful, relative live music. The singer has a wonderful voice, the place is wonderful and the service excellent. the food was delicious. I really recommend coming by and having a great experience. Thank you to the staff

Great service, the staff was kind, helpful and food was quickly served. We stayed here for brunch and could enjoy seating outdoor on a warm sunny day. There's quite some choice on the menu to make everyone's happy. Really liked the food! Although you don't find pure traditional polish food, but rather a mix from several European cuisines.

First of all, the plush, gold love seats on the patio made this restaurant really stand out from the rest. Gdansk offers foodies so much, but this interior sparked our interest right away. Whether it's your eyes or your stomach that leads you to Mon Balzac you may just leave a piece of your heart there, too. Our host and server, Monika, made it so easy to relax and enjoy a locally inspired meal; my husband had steak with golden mash and me, sea bream with asparagus and mixed greens. Fresh, well prepared and uncontrived our plates were full of color and flavor. We ate slow, drank plenty and enjoyed Monika's ebullient conversation. To be clear, she was only there exactly when we needed her. Before Covid, we traveled internationally often for work and pleasure. Michelin yes, but local fare with personal touches is much more enticing for us. It's often difficult to weed through culinary options in a touristy, and in the case of the Gdansk, abundant scene. This place is easy to recommend and will be wonderful to return to. Thank you Monika for all of your personal assistance. We will be back.
