Gawler South Bakery

This and their main shop front (Adelaide Rd, Gawler - further 'south') always have pleasant service and excellent pastries.

This bakery is handy to the Main Street, parking, and public conveniences, but from its name, seems to be misplaced! However, it is a pleasant place to eat with a good choice of cakes, pies and pasties, and various rolls. The service is quick and friendly, and we enjoy our morning tea.

Gawler South Bakery were given the task of catering for a funeral and I and my team of wonderful volunteer helpers were required to serve the 300 plus people attending. The sandwiches were very fresh and varied in their content, and the Jam and scones and lamingtons went down well with the tea and coffee. The Bakery did an excellent job and it was greatly appreciated by all.

Some of the pies only had a couple of pieces of chicken in it. Very jelly like consistency. Ok selection of cakes but very hesitate to return. Staff are friendly. Prices are average for a bakery. Ok if want a quick meal if nothing else around.

The meal was only a double cut roll but hell, what flavour and plenty of filling coffee great. thank you
