Contribuiți la feedbackSometimes you visit a place with hopes of a good dining experience, but unfortunately, this restaurant did not meet our expectations. We ordered pork, chicken skewers, and garlic fries. The pork had seven small, tough pieces. The chicken dish was a bland boiled soup with a few pieces of chicken and carrots floating in a soup thickened with cornflour. The garlic fries were underwhelming. My sons refused to eat the food. There was no one available to serve us water. The owner seemed disinterested, sitting and watching TV. I considered voicing my concerns when paying the bill, but decided against it. The only positive aspect was the presence of a friendly dog and functioning air conditioning.
The Delight Restaurant is located on a side street branching off at a right angle from the east side of the Dighalipukhuri tanks. Situated on the first floor of a building, the restaurant features both a closed section and a balcony. The street, adorned with minimal graffiti, provides a pleasant setting to dine outdoors on the balcony in the comfortably cool winter air. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, as well as Northeastern tribal cuisine which includes pork dishes. The prices are very affordable. During multiple visits to Delight, I sampled dishes such as spring rolls, chili pork, chicken paratha, and more, all of which were delicious. The opportunity to sit outside and observe the world passing by, instead of being confined in a sealed, air-conditioned room, was a refreshing change.
Delight Restaurant is located on a side street off the east side of Dighailpukhuri tank. It is on the first floor of a building and has both an indoor section and a balcony. The street is quiet, making it pleasant to dine outside on the balcony in the cool winter air. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, as well as some Northeastern tribal specialties, particularly pork dishes. The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed multiple meals at Delight, trying dishes like spring rolls, chili pork, chicken paratha, and others. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the change of scenery from the usual indoor, air-conditioned dining experience.
