Agriturismo La Brezza - GATTATICO

This is my third visit to La Brezza and there will be many more to come. Each visit I’ve made has been in different circumstances. The first being an intimate birthday party with friends; the second being the annual staff Christmas celebration, and then this week a dinner for two. The welcome and charm of Chiara and her mother is always appreciated and the talents of the kitchen always enjoyed. The cooking is confident and satisfying and the meat and produce always super fresh. The menu celebrates the cucina of Emilia Romanga and with each visit there are special extra delights prepared and they are delivered to the table as an appetizer . This visit’s treat was fine rings of lightly fried pumpkin they were simple and delicious. The restaurant offers a wide selection of good wines. This time I was given a tour of the complete building. There are ten or more rooms for bed and breakfast. Each room has been individually decorated in an authentic country style using lots of beautiful wood. As La brezza opened just last year, everything feels new, fresh and inviting and I’ll definitely plan to stay there one night, most likely when I’ve enjoyed too much wine  I wish Chiara and her family all the success with their agriturismo, they deserve it with all of the energy, thought and care that they have invested. Una serata splendida Questa è stata la terza visita alla Brezza e sicuramente ce ne saranno tante a venirsi. Ogni visita è stata per differenti circostanze,la prima volta è stata per il mio compleanno con amici;la seconda per la cena di Natale con lo staff e l'ultima una cena per due. Il benvenuto di Chiara e della mamma sono sempre apprezzati ed il talento della cucina altrettanto. La cucina ed il cibo,tipici della cucina Emiliana,sono sempre molto freschi e soddisfacenti ed ad ogni visita qualche extra menù viene presentato come antipasto. Oltre al buon cibo esista una buona e generosa scelta di vini. Mi ha sorpreso visitare l'intera struttura composta da una decina di camere arredate in perfetto stile country side,confortevoli. Ho già pianificato di fermarmi una sera a dormire,soprattutto se capiterà di aver bevuto un po' troppo vino. Auguro ogni fortuna è successo a Chiara ed alla sua famiglia,lo meritano per tutto l'impegno la fatica e l'amore impiegato nel costruire il loro agriturismo.

Nice farmhouse a few kilometers from the road. typical Emilian cuisine with first spectacular and abundant, to be noticed: noodles ragù, space!, as well as herbal tortelli. seconds in the norm. very kind and helpful staff, but the discussions between staff never make nice figure. the only small defect is the careful cleaning, dust and web disturb the atmosphere.

Quiet place and surrounded by nature, well renovated farmhouse, but some details could be done better especially in plants. beautiful idea to reuse original components like some doors, but then the dotted marble staircase. It’s a little something! not vintage furniture, only old! probably young grandparents, someone might like, to me do not drive crazy, some details in the rooms should be refreshed and a deeper cleaning could do well, but in a farm. very kind staff, for me their strong point is the restaurant, good raw materials and well made dishes, the price quality ratio is excellent.
