Contribuiți la feedbackRipley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is the very best Aquarium in Tennessee, in my opinion! I highly recommend visiting this Aquarium, They bring the Penguins out sometime. We were lucky to get to see one out walking and interacting with the staff. The kids can touch the Jellyfish’s and there is a play area as well. They have a really nice gift shop as you exit as well, that’s definitely worth exploring.
This, by far, is the best aquarium we have been to. Certainly, it was much more entertaining, with many more intriguing ocean life than the aquarium we visited in New York. Wish my camera had taken better pictures! It's so worth the visit! My 5 year old to my 23 year old enjoyed it! One really cool attraction was the conveyor belt that allowed you to ride under the sharks as they swam overhead.
The family had a great time. It was absolutely packed and parking for the Aquarium was full but we ate at a place nearby and didn't have to worry about getting towed by parking there and walking 2 blocks to the Aquarium. There are many chances to get a family pic taken by the staff at a put up shack along the Aquarium walking path. There is 1 place to eat and it can be pricey along with all the gift shop items. This shop is huge by the way and you can pretty much find anything in there. We rented a stroller but it's not the greatest stroller but good in a pinch. All in all its a great place to stop for the family.
Our kiddos love this Aquarium. We have been here twice already, and they just keep improving and making it very interesting. The indoor playground is massive so be sure to watch out for your kiddos. The mermaid show is awesome, same goes with the shark boat tour. Go in as early as you can to make sure no wait time and also to get you a spot in their parking garage. There is a gift shop inside, quite huge tons of exciting items to buy. We also love the Penguins experience. The price for entrance fee not bad at all. Overall, our experience is awesome!

Their enthusiasm added an educational aspect to the visit, making it both entertaining and informative. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible. There were plenty of interactive activities for all ages, including touch tanks and feeding sessions.
