Starbucks Coffee - Gatineau

I have always had good experiences at the Starbucks in Gatineau. Even with a lot of customers, the service is still friendly and quick. I am consistently impressed by how fast the staff takes orders and makes drinks. The quality of the drinks and food remains high, even when it is busy. This shows their commitment to offering a great experience, making it a dependable place to go for a delicious treat.

I placed my order using the Starbucks app, which estimated that my drink would be ready by 4:23. I arrived at 4:20, but it was already 4:28 and people who had ordered after me were receiving their drinks before mine. When I mentioned this to the barista, he informed me that it was a first come, first served system. I have never experienced this at any other Starbucks location, where my drink is usually ready upon my arrival. I ended up waiting over 10 minutes and will not be returning to that particular location again.

The service at this restaurant was poor, as we waited nearly an hour for just two drinks.

Ordered online, showed up 5 minutes before the estimated time, didn’t see our drink available so we waited 10 minutes. Went in line to see what the situation was, they made our drink incorrectly, didn’t apologize, and the barista didn’t take any responsibility.

You can only really hype so much about a Starbucks in a mall. Believe it or not, this Starbucks is, as you would assume, a Starbucks and offers the same variety of foods and drinks as every other Starbucks...but in a mall. Does it get crowded? Yes. Parents needing a caffeine kick from lugging around their ungrateful kids while they're trying to find them something nice to wear to that family thing they have planned next weekend are lined up with the teenagers hyped up on sugared drinks they more or less like but rather live how cool they look holding their 13$ drink in hand. It all works out as one would expect from a Starbucks in a mall.
