We have been going to this restaurant for years, and can say that they have consistently held up their high standards. The sushi is very good, for the Ottawa area, but the service stands out for being both friendly and welcoming and highly professional.

Five of us went on the evening of the first snowfall in Ottawa to catch up. First impression, the interior is tastefully decorated The tea from the giant red teapot somehow warms you right away. We are impressed with the portion of the food and the great taste in both the sushi and tapas. I have to say the pricing is decent. It's in the mall across from Gatineau Costco, so it's a perfect spot for dinner après ski, or spa, or casino, or just stocking-up beers from Costco.

Cozy. Family friendly. Affordable. I have been to a few Japanese restaurants in the region. This is far my favourite. It feels like homemade. The food tastes like spring under the sea?
