Cafe Cognac Restaurant - Gatineau

I work in the Montcalm building. I regularly go there during the week for lunch or dinner. Excellent food!! The service is always smiling, especially with Francine and Pierre!! I am never disappointed!!

Very good restaurant. Excellent value for money, good selection of fresh mussels.

We stopped at the Café-Cognac for a quick breakfast. Contrary to the week-end, this charming location, with its Tintin-decorated walls, was not packed. Great, it’ll be quick I thought.

I went for breakfast and ordered 2 eggs bacon. The servers were very nice and professional. The environment was clean and pleasant. The service was quick and the food was great. Will be returning to try out the other items on the menu.

We went there for lunch for a family gathering. The menu is varied and the food was very good. Would love to try their breakfast next time. Be prepared for the drive there. As of June 2023, the road on the way there is full of dips in the pavement.
