Bistro L'autre Oeil - Gatineau

Eating is terrible, couldn't both end plates, it was so bad. the bungalow was hard, the poutine sauce was mixed with a strange spicy, the BBQ wrap was cold and the guacamole did not fit in the burger at all. they have a wide choice of beer, but that's quite a lot. it is a beautiful looking terrace and it would be great if they could improve on their food.

Large selection of beer. natural. good service, local family owned a d local staff. I recommend her beer and eat.

My friend and I went to dinner at this restaurant and the food was great. The staff was very nice and friendly, except for our waitress, Soir; she was quite terrible to me. Although my mother tongue is English, I understand French and speak a little. I usually feel more comfortable speaking in English, which has never been a problem in Aylmer because most people there speak both languages. Our waitress spoke French very formally, but I spoke to her in English because I saw her speaking English to others. When she brought our drinks, she muttered to us because I spoke English to her and for the rest of the time we were there, she completely ignored me, didn't acknowledge me when I spoke to her, and wouldn't even look at me. Soir only spoke to my friend (who also spoke English and French to her) and at one point even positioned herself between us as if I weren't even there. She was very kind to other tables that spoke only English to her, and I didn't do anything wrong to offend her. The way she treated me made me so uncomfortable that I barely touched my food; I felt like I was being treated poorly at the table for no reason. Despite the good food and atmosphere, we won't be returning to this restaurant. I would recommend requesting a different server if you get Soir as yours.

The dining experience was excellent. I ordered the poutine and it was outstanding. The service was also top-notch, as there was minimal wait time. Furthermore, they offer a wide variety of draft drinks.

This restaurant offers fantastic beer, food, music, and service. It has the best nachos in town and consistently provides excellent service. Théo, the server, is top-notch.
