Contribuiți la feedbackI stopped by TGI Fridays for lunch before catching the train back to York. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Overall, a very good experience.
In with friends for pre football Dinner and drinks. Had booked ahead, but the place didn't seem over crowded. We were advised that our table wasn't ready yet but that we could go to the bar for drinks. It didn't look that busy, but we...were told our table was ready before we got a chance to order. Bit of a delay getting drinks orders taken, but we were kept topped up whilst we waited for some stragglers in our party. Food order was taken promptly, but one of the guys had ordered an extra to the dish that was missed. We were given an appology and offered a replacement or just to have it taken off the bill which seemed the simpler option. Food was tasty, atmosphere is fine. For the price you pay, it's amongst our first choices.
Had to wait to be seated for at least minutes even though there were clearly tables available, the staff seemed to on a go slow setting all apart from a great waiter called Jacob ,the food was lovely however overpriced and no mayonnaise available...just some vegan rubbish
I made a reservation at TGI Friday's in Newcastle and indicated that it was my daughter's birthday in the booking notes, expecting a birthday treat. Unfortunately, we did not receive any special treatment and our starters were not brought to us. Additionally, our main meals were missing certain components. It appeared that the staff, who seemed to be young teenagers, were more focused on fooling around rather than doing their jobs efficiently. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant again.
Recently visited here and was impressed. Clean restaurant, fast service and quality food cooked to a high standard. Will re-visit if in the area.
