Got a fabulous spiced lentil takeaway soup, complete with warm crusty roll, butter, knife and spoon all for £2.50. The soup portion size was excellent value. It was piping hot and super...tasty the warm roll was a fabulous touch, well done. than I expected for a takeaway soup option. Highly recommend it.
I visited the restaurant today and had to pay £2.70 for parking. The breakfast menu was quite limited, making it feel more like a cafe than a restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and clean, with a modern style, but overall the restaurant seemed quite basic.
I had breakfast at this restaurant last week and it was incredible! The eggs benedict was truly the best I've ever had, and I would gladly pay to have it again. Kudos to the chef!
Been here about 10 times during lunch hours, tried a variety of foods, from soup to chicken pittas. The chef, possibly the most unhelpful waste of space I've ever spoken to, wouldn't knock up a sandwich even though they had the ingredients there. The food...is beyond bland, never had anything so consistently **** in my entire life, considering the quality it's majorly over priced... Subsidised too . Just go to greggs, their sandwiches are MUCH better quality... And that's greggs ffs.
We chose the brasserie for our daughter's 30th birthday party based on our previous positive experiences with their lunches and our admiration for Mike's professionalism and enthusiasm. We were very pleased with how the evening turned out, with around 60 guests being the perfect number for the venue. Denise and the rest of the staff were fantastic, and the buffet was just right. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or a coffee - you'll be well taken care of. Please note that the brasserie is only open during weekdays for daytime service, but evening functions can be arranged. The prices are reasonable, making this place a hidden gem in the area.
