Shepp's Venue - Gastonia

We were in during a quiet period and the owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome, put on the Gamecock basketball game, talked with us while we played pool. Great venue!! We'll be going back!!

I absolutely adore this place!! The owner was fantastic, the drinks were fantastic, and the pool tables were fantastic!!! We will definitely be returning!!

This restaurant is awesome. The service from Shep was excellent! They have great music and pool tables. The only downside was that smoking is allowed, which we didn't like. It's the first public place we've been to in a long time that still allows cigarette smoking.

Owner has VERY bad customer service skills, rude and disrespectful. Frustrated with his workers who were nice and really working. Tells the dj what to play not what’s for the crowd. The place OLD smell likes cigarettes, I saw two ROACHES crawling on the wall on the second floor. Was there having a one year anniversary celebration and the owner was aware of me having a celebration there… was so rude, upset me and my guest. Locked the doors so no one else could come in. Place was empty anyways, my guest and I is what brung the crowd and the money to the bar that night. We left and went across the street to a very friendly welcoming spot called Meka’s. I will never be back to this place or recommend it to ANYONE!!
