I commanded a phone call and was told to go through the drive for pickup. at the arrival for picking up I have cracked the bell and literally watched how 4 different people patiently wait for a greeting or something and more than when they did not see me. So I thought maybe they were busy, so I wanted to go in. there was literally a person in the restaurant! 2 of the 4 people who saw me waiting at the window offered almost 5 minutes no excuse or thank you for their patient as I entered. no greeting or anything they have ordered. the eating was decent I got the sweet hibachi but will not go back and do not recommend.
Tried this place for the 1st time today and I ordered the hibachi steak and white rice. What I got was brown rice and the hibachi steak was a horrible flavor. Very dissatisfied with my experience. The rice was wrong and honestly the soup was the only thing I could ingest and it was not the best. Sorry but I do not recommend this place.
First time here service is amazing very professional !!!The sushi is awesome good!!! My favorite dream roll. If you want good service and get good food specially sushi, This is it seek no more!!!Definitely they have new costumer.
Sushi Gem in Belmont, NC there's a few places to eat out but this one I will definitely come back to. We started off by ordering their spicy garlic wings a must try from the menu you can't miss this the flavor and taste was mouth watering and crab wonton for appetizers. My toddler had the chicken lo mein which was good according to her and she's a very picky eater. For dinner we ordered the Golden gate roll, Jalapeño Bomber roll (my favorite), Ocarina roll and Spiral Ecstasy roll. Our server Joseph was very attentive, knowledgeable and provided outstanding service to us. To the extension that he asked what kind of soy sauce we wanted regular or low sodium. This place is very spacious, family friendly and clean. I gave them a five star based on the overall service, the food quality and cleanliness.
Well as I’ve yet to go partake in food I can’t really speak on that. However customer service is a whole other subject. I called around 4:30pm on 11/24/2021 and asked about French fries. Yes I know silly question to some, but my son is autistic. French fries are the only thing he eats and I was rudely told they don’t serve them as they’re a Japanese place. Understandable but this was going to be a family trip and autistic kids don’t eat sushi so I was wanting to know if he’d eat. Well he won’t and my family will be taking our money elsewhere and I’d second guess this place for a date night with my husband now
