The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. This restaurant was recommended by locals. The poutine was flavorful and the lobster rolls were outstanding.
Went and got our fullness of Poutine... I mean, you got poutins when you're here and this was spectacular!
I had heard that this restaurant was a popular spot with the second best poutine in the province. My boyfriend and I decided to check it out, but as we entered through the front door, we were quickly redirected outside by a worker who explained that we needed to place our order from a table or our cars. It would have been helpful to have a sign indicating this policy for first-time visitors. The menu was simple with no standout options. We ordered a hamburger and a small poutine (only available in small or large). It took about 20 minutes for our food to be ready, and it was brought to our car window. We paid $27 for two small poutines, a few burgers, and a Pepsi. The poutine was decent, but not the best I've ever had, and the burger was average. Overall, the food was tasty but nothing extraordinary.
Chez Cathy has a deserved reputation for haute casse-croûte in the region. We chose Poutine, not as good as Cantine Fortier, but a fixed second place in the region. Lobster roll was good, but again not as good as Ste-Flavie, for example. A very good onion ring to complete a delicious meal for $22. Cheap good, we ate outside on a friski sunny June day drive the point de la.
