Kennon House - Gasburg

Took 30 minutes to place order.another 30 to 40 minutes to receive food.food was Luke warm not hot .rolls were not hot from just coming out of oven.not a very good first experience with this establishment. Will not be going back anytime soon.got plates to go.ran out of some of the food.nevet run out food if you are running that type of venue.

We have been to the Kennon House many times but, this was the first time since Dennis sold the place and they added a sports grill. We made reservations for three, supposedly in a private dining room. We were seated in a hard benched wooden booth in the main dining area. The menu has greatly changed, shifting from down home cooking to more hands-on sandwich fare. They do still have the pork chops, BBQ, and fried chicken. Portions are fair, the meal is served hot, and the price is about what one would expect these days. Service was good and the server was efficient and checked on us frequently. We will visit this establishment again!

The appetizers were great! The crab cakes were so tasty! love the atmosphere! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The karaoke was so much fun as well! Had a great time here ! Will be back!

Prices were slightly high, but worth it... we will go back several times thus summer
