Al's Prime Meat Deli - Garwood

There's no easy way to put it... Al is quite unpleasant, but the staff here treats everyone with respect.

I've been catching the bus at the corner of Al's for over a year, but I never had the chance to try the food because they were always closed when I passed by around 7 PM, and I usually get home late. Recently, I noticed that the lights were on earlier, and I could smell the aroma of roasting garlic when I walked past the side door. Finally, one morning, I stopped by while they were open at 8 AM, and the owner’s son treated me like family. Now, I grab coffee there every morning, and the cook is more than happy to pause what he's doing to prepare my coffee and chat with me about what's new. The breakfast is fantastic, and the young cook is incredibly friendly.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time, especially since I just moved here from New York. I was curious to see how it would compare. The experience was interesting, but I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it.

Al is a great place for the family. Al has traditional values and treats our servicemen and women with great respect.

No other way to say it ... Al's a total d-bag ... go somewhere else where they treat people with respect
