El Cafetin Del Puerto - Garrucha

El Cafetin is in a great location, with a view of the harbour and situated away from the main road traffic in the north of Garrucha. The tapas menu offers a wide range of options that come free with a beer, plus there are additional 'special ' tapas (at an extra cost) and an extensive proper food menu. Seafood is one of the main focuses here, with scallops, shrimp and mussels always available, as well as many other fishy options, but there is also plenty to satisfy a non seafood lover, and the portions are generous and tasty. Service is usually friendly, sometimes slow and sometimes hard work, but if you are proactive about things you will find you are fed and watered quicker than if you just sit and wait for things to happen. Some reviews mention there being only one bathroom for everyone, but this is not true; there are two, one for each of the more traditional genders, both of which are clean.

Friendly. Fresh. Fun. Great value and great flavour tapas. Definitely the best tapas in Garrucha. Should be much more highly rated.

I am so pleased that El Cafetin has finally made it on to Trip Advisor as this has been a favourite of ours for three years. We often stop for coffee and the meals we have had there have been excellent (particularly the salads). We hadn't tried the tapas until last week and unfortunately have to declare it a bit dull and uninspiring. The meatballs were barely warm (but delicious), the Tortilla Espanol was stone cold, the prawn salad was okay but the prawns in batter was just an insult I know tapas are supposed to be small but two prawns is just taking the proverbial! The service is generally excellent but one waitress seems to manage to spill at least half of one coffee into the saucer every time. More cup carrying training needed perhaps.

La verdad es de los mejores lugares de garrucha . Buena comida, buen servicio, buenos precios.. super recomendado, servicio rapido y sus camareros super atentos y amables. No duden de venir para vivir una experiencia 10/10.

Sitio recomendado 100%, tienen un café muy rico y unos desayunos espectaculares! Mucha variedad en tapas y raciones y lo mejor de todo…SUS PAELLAS! El staff muy atento siempre y el servicio de diez. ¡No puedes ir a garrucha y no pasar por el cafetín del puerto!
