Wankhaus - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

On the very top of the mountain Wank, this place if just amazing. The view is just unbelievable and the whole atmosphere is just unbeatable. The food was very hearty and delicious. Portions were quite large as well and are more than worth the cost (about €8-10 per dish).I had the Kaiserschmarrn mit Apfelmus while my girlfriend ordered Kaspressknödel mit Salat. Both of these dishes were amazing and quite filling. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Even more so if you climb the mountain from the bottom.

Absolutely faboulous view over Garmisch, Alpspitz and Zugspitze. Friendly waiters and a huge choice of regional food to really fair prices and generous helping (compared with other restaurants on mountains there), e.g.Käsespätzle with lettuce or Kaiserschmarrn for less than 10€.Highlights: view and the cows

We just went for a drink after arriving at Wank mountain. The waiter was alright, he seemed pretty friendly but I was too busy admiring the views to take real notice of him. The views is what makes this place.

Stopped for quick drink and rest while visiting Wank mountain. Service very good. Weather excellent, sat outside, great views of mountain and countryside.

We had our afternoon drinks here only to be met with the great view of Zugspitze and other mountains in the Alps. A beautiful view of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the valley was a plus!
