Fraundorfer - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Read mixed reviews, but had dinner anyway - great call! The meal was the best to date after a week plus in Northern Italy and Bavaria! The wiener schnitzel was on point as was the Kaiserschmarnn. Very festive inside and out. We would NOT hesitate to return.

Fraundorfer family is amazing and will treat you as there own family. Everything is traditional at this gasthaus. You will want to return.

Great food and beer. Tyroler gröstl was delicious. Accordion music and kids did a slap dance on the half hour. Make a reservation, the place is packed!

Let's face it, people don't come here for the food ... they come for the slap dance boys and accordian player. It was nice to see that our reserved table had our name on it and it was nice to see the slap dancers 4 times. You might ask why we saw them that many times, ... the service was absolutely awful and it took that long to get the waitress to come to our table to take our order, food took forever, and the bill took forever. The worst table service of our Europe trip. The food was average and the portions massive.

We stayed at this guesthouse and restaurant. They offer Bavarian music most evenings except on Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed. the food is good and plentiful and not too expensive. evening meals around 20CHF pp. The breakfast buffet for guest is plentiful. I would recommend this restaurants to my friends.
