Darren's American Grill - Garland

I would rate it as good but not quite excellent. I wish the server had offered us sauces and spices after we received our meals instead of before. It's clear that this place puts in a lot of effort. They provide a solid meal at a great price. With a few adjustments to enhance the overall dining experience, they could easily elevate this place from good to outstanding. Although we live hundreds of miles away and were just passing through, we’ll likely return someday. I recommend trying this place; we had a pleasant experience. Still, I hold hope for an even better visit next time.

We just enjoyed a late lunch at Darren's Burger and Rings, along with a chicken-fried steak. Everything we ordered was excellent, prepared and served just as we asked. My friends from E Systems Garland will remember Darren and his Burger Time grill across the street. He’s still the same fantastic guy and continues to make an amazing burger, plus he offers a full menu that includes adult beverages. If you’re in Spring Park, Crawley Park, or the nearby areas, you have a wonderful new local eatery to check out. Go visit!

This restaurant is just around the corner from my house, so I had to give it a go. We ordered the Luna Ribeye, and it was a fantastic 22oz cut that was incredibly tender and simply melted in my mouth! The ambiance was enhanced by great music from Don Morgan, and the service was exceptional. It's the perfect little hidden gem that truly exceeded my expectations!

I stumbled upon Darren’s American Grill quite unexpectedly. After having surgery in June, I wasn’t able to drive for two weeks, so I ended up ordering food from various places via Uber Eats during that time. That’s how I discovered Darren’s. I’ve only tried their breakfast so far, but it has always been fantastic. This morning, I finally visited the restaurant to order my breakfast in person. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning on Friday night for their all-you-can-eat catfish!

I visit this area every month, and the host/server greets me like a regular, recalling the specifics of my orders. It's impressive! The restaurant opens at 6:00 am, which is perfect for my breakfast schedule. The omelets are expertly made and packed with the toppings you choose. There are plenty of options on the menu. Darren's breakfasts far surpass even the best hotel offerings, and Angela's service is exceptional. I highly recommend this place!
