Topaz Lodge Steak House - Gardnerville

I found the food to be quite overpriced and not impressive at all. The waitress never checked in on us, and we didn’t receive the extras we requested for our burgers. I ended up going to the salad bar myself to get the toppings we asked for. My drink was placed at the edge of the table, and when I needed a refill, there was no acknowledgment from the staff. We were left waiting for ages to pay the bill, and with five other people, we could have easily just walked out. The woman at the cash register was very rude, acting as if it was an annoyance to take our payment.

The food was decent overall, but the jalapeño poppers I had were among the worst I've encountered in quite some time—better to remove them from the menu altogether. Also, who uses nacho cheese on a Philly cheesesteak? On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean, and the iced tea refills were generous.

We stayed at the RV park and found it to be very clean, with friendly staff. However, the bathrooms were a disappointment; they could really use some updates or a thorough cleaning. The kids also expressed a strong desire for a playground.

Haven’t stayed in the rooms, but I have eaten inside the restaurant. It’s very delicious! I live there burgers and fries and the steak and eggs is also good. The waitresses are super nice and everyone there is super sweet. This lodge is by the really pretty Topaz lake so sitting and eating with a view of the lake is fantastic. Overall, this place is a great place to stop by and eat lunch with your family! (There’s also a casino for anyone who’s interested)

My family and i always stop here for dinner before heading back home to reno. it's not on their menu, but their ALL YOU CAN EAT SPAGHETTI is an AMAZING deal! it is $8.95 per person and you get unlimited spaghetti and garlic bread. the service is alright, bit understandable because they're short staffed. overall, 4/5 stars!!
