California Fish Grill - Gardena

The California Fish Grill is always on target: their food is delicious; they package it the right way in my opinion; and they are more than on time with a delivery always ahead of the time schedule for delivery. they are the greatest!

The ATLANTIC SALMON was too overcooked for me, but the NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER and the BREADED CALAMARI was really good... Highly recommend

SWAI (WHITE FISH): The fish was grilled excellently, but it could have used more garlic butter. The white rice was crunchy and lacked garlic butter, making it quite hard and dry. However, the breaded shrimp were fried to perfection, and the tartar sauce was fantastic!

The star of the show is definitely the tacos. The fries were quite enjoyable, with a nice light crunch, and the rice was your typical American-style rice. The fish was fresh and perfectly battered, featuring a light crunch and well-seasoned flavor, all wrapped in a yellow corn tortilla. It was topped with cabbage, tomato, cilantro, and pickled red onions, making for a delicious combination.

I was really disappointed with the portion of salad we received. We ordered the full-sized, $19.99 grilled salmon salads, but what we got definitely didn’t feel like a full salad. At Chicken Maison, we get a much larger salad for a lower price. Perhaps if you order in-person, the portions are more generous. Overall, I was let down by the high cost of the salads. Thankfully, we had some lettuce at home to add to them. On a positive note, the breaded calamari was quite good. I won’t be ordering the salads again.
