It was great for splitting with 4 or so people.Their pork belly in particular is extremely moist and tender! I loved the blood sausage. We also tried the seafood pancake, pork feet, and stir-fried intestine. Everything was solid.
We have been loyal customers at this Korean restaurant for a long time. The food can be hit or miss, but we specifically come here for the Korean soup. However, our last visit was a very unpleasant experience. The service is usually not great, but this time it was really bad. We ordered dishes that did not come with the hot soup, so we asked one of the waitresses for a small bowl of hot soup. She brought us the soups, but to our disappointment, they were cold. Not even warm, but cold. We didn't say anything and just didn't eat the soup. We noticed two waitresses looking at us and talking amongst themselves, giggling. It felt like they were discussing why we weren't eating the soup we had asked for. When we paid the bill, I asked the waitress if the soup was supposed to be cold, to which she replied, "Oh, the soup was cold?" She was the one who brought it to us! This restaurant used to be known for its Korean hot soup, all of which should be in pots on the stove ready to serve at a hot temperature. I don't want to think about where those cold soups came from. Maybe they were leftovers from other customers? As Korean customers, we will never be returning to this restaurant. The food and service do not make us want to come back. The smell of the meat was off, the service was poor... It's rare for me to leave a restaurant feeling so disgruntled. We will not be coming back here again. I hope this helps address your concerns. In response to your request, I am providing details of our visit. We dined on 05/31/2023, between 5 pm and 5:30 pm. Our order included cooked pork belly with vegetables, cooked pork feet, a Korean sausage combo, and Soju.
I have been living in Garden Grove for over 10 years and just discovered this restaurant! The side dishes and main dishes are consistently delicious. The soups, such as gamja tang and tofu soup, are always satisfying. The staff, especially the ladies, are friendly and attentive.
Any Korean soups and dishes with Soju can be found here. A relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff will help you to find what you are craving for. It is no longer friendly prices anymore, but still Korean food is korean food.Food: 4/5
Portions for the cutlets is large as great no dryness from overcooking and low for the price considering how much other places that are lackluster to be charging more these days .Food: 5/5
