Pictured are: Banh beo dia, Banh it kep Banh ram, and Bun mit mam nem. My personal favorite was the vermicelli with jackfruit salad had great flavor and a nice kick ?. Service was good and pretty quick!
Came here first thing when this restaurant open on a Friday morning. We ordered banh beo, banh bot loc, and banh canh tom Cua. The banh canh tom cua was really thick, and flavorful. I really enjoyed it. The banh beo and banh bot loc was good but the nuoc mam was a little bland so I had to add extra undiluted fish sauce to give it some flavor.
Had the bun bo hue here. Wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either! By itself it isn't all that spicy so you can adjust it to your liking by adding more chili satay. They also give you a lot of meat for even just the regular bowl. Amount of meat seems about the same for both the large and the regular.
Hits the spot for after church on Sundays. Fried mochi dumplings. You have to be true Viet to eat here. Nothing glamorous. Focus on the food! Focus on the food.
We needed a redo of Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup), Banh Beo (savory rice cakes), and hubby was craving for Banh Nam (flour cake) since the last place we visited (Quan Hy) did not meet our standards. This has always been our go to spot because of the flavor of their food, freshness of ingredients, portion size of food, and customer service. The only down side is limited hours and they're closed on Mondays which is usually when we would plan lunch together (hubby's day off). When time permits, we do have brunch here on Sundays. Rather than deal with the typical long wait times in Westminster, this spot is always open and has tons of seating even prime hours during weekends. If you've never been here, it is a must try for anyone looking to get their Bun Bo Hue, Banh Beo or Banh Nam fix.
