Contribuiți la feedbackIt 's not to often I get surprised by a meal. When you go to fine dining, you know what you 're getting. However, be prepared when you visit The Capital Grille the food is on another level. I came before my trip to Buffalo with my brother. I recommend using valet in the front, the restaurant is located at the mall, so not much available parking around. The outside of the restaurant is large and grand. It stands firm and is very welcoming. Inside you are greeted by a hostess that takes your name and number in case you have to wait for seating. We didn 't wait long and we actually got great seats. Our waiter came over right away and introduced himself. He came off very knowledgeable, friendly and well informed. I only drank water, I was driving, and his partner poured the glass quickly. My glass, never stayed empty long to add, which I thought was great. Looking around the place was incredibly large. It was low lit and warm. The seating was comfortable and I had plenty of space at the table. The wine selection was extensive. They had an impressive bar, and lastly a visible kitchen where you can smell the delicious meats being prepared. Once we placed the order the waiter explained it may take up to twenty minutes for our food, I didn 't mind the wait because the complimentary bread was delicious. While we waited, that was a good distraction. Finally the food came and the plates were hot. There 's no doubt it was made fresh. But nothing could prepare me for what happened next. I tried the macaroni and cheese. My mind drifted trying to identify the blends of cheese they used. I couldn 't understand how you can reinvent a classic, but they did. I almost ran to the back and demanded they tell me the ingredients. Next was my main course, the lamb. I 've eaten a lot of lamb in my day, but I 've never eaten lamb like this. They coat the plate in a sauce that compliments the seared, tender meat. It was the most complete combination I 've ever had. I had no issue with tell the waiter who laughed with excitement. He asked right there, will we be back and I quickly replied, try and stop me. After he dropped the check and another plus was they accepted Apple Pay. This was the most interesting, inviting, entertaining restaurant I 've been to. Next time I come will be on my birthday. This may be a regular place for me.
Great place for a meal and a drink. Lamb is amazingly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Bartenders are great. Ask for Nick. He will take care of you. Megan was also great to have too! Will return. Best seat is at the bar!
Fantastic service, fantastic eating I made an open table reservation for the capital grille to celebrate my man who completes his military training. the.
