Tante Paula - Gand

I don't understand. We just went in to get two takeaway coffees and use the bathroom, and we were pretty much kicked out. They have commented that they closed in ten minutes, I have specified that we wanted the coffee to go, and even so the man has taken us to outside the premises, and has told us to go to a public bathroom. Also, the place was full. I don't understand why he hasn't let us consume. It has not been a pleasant treatment.

So good to find a place with simple but handmade sandwiches and soup for a very, very reasonable price in among all the overpriced touristy places elsewhere in Gent. Tante Paula (I presume) was making and serving and the home baking was as good as the sandwiches and soup. Nothing fancy but tastes so good and doesn’t break the bank. Thank you! Service: Dine in
