Moroni's - Gananoque

The dining experience at this restaurant was excellent, with a welcoming staff and delicious food. We tried the club sandwich and chicken soup, both of which were very tasty. The portions were generous and could easily be shared. The restaurant had a reservation for 70 people, so the waitress advised us to order ahead of time to avoid any delays once the large group arrived, which we appreciated and did.

We flew to Moroni To Go in Gananoque before 9:00pm, calling ahead to confirm they were still open. Upon arrival, we were told we could only order pizza due to their busy-ness. We ordered a pizza, zucchini sticks, and roasted mozzarella, only to be told later that we could only order the pizza. Despite ordering a large pizza instead of a medium, we had to wait the 30-35 minute window to pick it up as instructed. The hostess was unwelcoming upon our return and rushed us to pay for our pizza. Unfortunately, the meat lover pizza was disappointing as the crust tasted like cardboard and the toppings were not as advertised. We will not be returning to Moroni To Go in the future. A piece of advice for the owners: if you cannot maintain quality during busy times, it may be best to close temporarily rather than disappoint your customers with subpar food and resentful service.

Over price, bad taste, bad quality, took forever. it doesn't matter to pay or wait a price, but it should taste good. no confessions, waiters seemed really busy. that is not worth waiting. 2/4 the bathroom is from the order to find toilet paper. sincerely thirsty.

We often come to gananoque and try different restaurants when we come. we are generally satisfied or very satisfied, but our experience in moroni’s tonight was anything but satisfied. I will say that we were greeted immediately and placed on a table within seconds to foot, but that was the good service stopped. it took about 10 minutes before we were seen for drinks (2 water and 2 chocolate milk). Once we get our drinks and ordered our food, it took about 40 minutes to get out. there were only 3-4 other tabs. I ordered captivating alfredo, which nothing more than butter and parmesan (if that, hardly taste). one of my daughters ordered the children chicken fingers that looked like they were reheated in a microwave and extremely dry. my wife ordered the half ribs with zeasarsalat, but got chicken. when the right plate came, we had finished the rest of our plates, although we were slowly eating so that we could sit together. not even the waitress came and checked us what would have been nice, as all our drinks were bone-dried. Once we paid the bill, the waitress did not thank us for our business and did not offer any other greeting, simply took the debit machine and went. the hostess wished us a good day. a star to be open, a star for the hostess. my wife told me that the waitress approached her when she left the washroom to apologize for the mix of the teller. I don't recommend it and we'll eat here again. I don't write that easily, I know the negative assessments on the small towns, but that had to be said.

The customer service at this restaurant was fantastic. We were trying to find somewhere to eat breakfast which was near impossible. We called Moroni's and although they were not currently serving breakfast, they accommodated us. The owner came over and said hi the same man who invited us for our meal over the phone. The server was great, very attentive and personable. The food was also very good. Would definitely recommend!
