House Of Dragon - Gananoque

The staff treatment was exceptional. They charge me half price because, I didn't eat a lot for dinner. Good place for traveling. The buffet choice was really not huge but modest and what is generally expected of a travelers dinner buffet.

Food was good, atmosphere none, had a nice buffet, service fine, sort of expected more of this place.

We went for the buffet they advertise. It was approx 5 p.m. on a weeknight. We told the waiter we were having the buffet. The selection was ok - however the food in the hot section was cold. When they replaced the pan there should have been steam coming up from the opening. In addition while we were there a worker cleaned the glass above the open dishes without trying to cover them. Not only did she clean the top of the glass but the underside so any dirt would fall into the open dishes. Our meal was so bad I posted a warning to others on facebook while my companion was finishing his tea (even it was barely warm). When I got home I called the health department and asked they get back to me after visiting. They said the restaurant claimed they did not have a buffet the day and time we were there! Also there had been other complaints about the restaurant that they had investigated before. When we were leaving we saw one of the workers walking toward McDonalds. I joked maybe he was going there for a decent meal. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Unless I was trying to poison them.

This place was just ok. The food wasn't the greatest but it did what it was supposed to do which was fill us up. We had the buffet for 16.00 which is a fairly good price but I wouldn't say it was worth it and I was leery about whether any of us would get ill from it afterwards because of some of the things we saw as we sat there.Dirty dishes were piled high in tubs in the dining area and it was over flowing with food etc. Some staff didn't speak very good english, a few times we ended up clearing our own plates and put them in the tubs so that we could go back up to the buffet. The safest things to eat there was the following; regular salad, rice, french fries. We didn't find the place very clean either, the only good thing about it was it was convenient.We won't be returning there

We placed an order and picked it up. The egg rolls tasted like they had been sitting for a while, and there was just no flavour. Wouldn't recommend this place, I certainly won't be going back.
