The Hardiman Afternoon Tea - Galway

Service was a little slow, that was not early gray, could be more economical in the menu, the amount was enough

The Hightea snacks were a combination of sweet and hearty, well balanced. some of the snacks were made shortly before serving, while some were standing one without covering. the server was frazzled and rushed. I enjoy the experience and eating was plentiful.

Disappointed that we had mentioned during the booking that we celebrated our sons for the first birthday, but no candle could be found when it came to eat the cake layer? I find this very strange in a hotel that they are used for similar requests. especially when booking the employee ensured that his name..gave impressed me that a small gesture should be made for his birthday.. Also during booking I was told that it was 25 euro for two children tees. but we were charged 30! little things like these sour the experience. half through our tee, the bill was dropped, as the waitress explained, she was in her own words, the door to go when I said we were more tee or coffee, she said we could contact her colleagues. but that meant leaving our seats twice and going into the bar to find a coworker. there was no one on the afternoon tea area to check if we were in order, we needed something else. the afternoon was put on our table and we felt forgotten. even if it was about paying, we had to look twice for the attention of the staff. overall, we would not be back, which is so disappointing when you look at the first-class location for a festive afternoon.

Beautiful afternoon, mary our Maitre”d was great. Despite the hectic nature of the venues different bars and dining areas served our needs. an absolute profi and claims the hotel. thank you mary!

Lovely setting, but the afternoon tea itself was quite dissapointing. We also had a kids afternoon tea which was wholly unsuited to a child, essentially the exact same as the adult tea, just a smaller portion.
